Waterfields Bakers are a family business who are very proud to be associated with the communities around the 47 shops that we have in the North West.
Waterfields are pleased to support local hospices through the sale of our carrier bags and during a full calendar year the £13,000 that will be raised will be divided thus.
Half the money will be divided between the following
The other half will go to Macmillan nurses who play an inspirational role in both the hospices and the community.
Waterfields also have a number of shops that work with local charities that distribute food that is left at the end of the working day. If you work with a similar organisation we would be pleased to hear from you.
At a more local level, Waterfields continues to offer raffle prizes in support of deserving causes. If you are having a fundraiser for a deserving cause, please contact Mr Richard Waterfield, Chairman of Waterfields (firstname.lastname@example.org) and consideration will be given to all requests. We cannot guarantee to support everyone but will reply to all.
In 2015, we raised in excess of £6000 for Macmillan Cancer support and over £7000 for Children in need, thanks to the generosity of our customers and the inventiveness of our staff through raffles, tombola's and the sale of cupcakes throughout the shops.
Waterfields supported schools and organisations with raffle prizes and during 2015, we donated over £1500 in products to help with their own fund raising.
Until the end of March this year a total of £5996 has been raised, of this £2998 will go to Macmillan which is our Company Charity

I had the pleasure of visiting one of Waterfields Cafes in Leigh where the staff were ever so friendly. I decided to have a coffee and an egg custard. Wow that egg custard was the best one I had in a long time. The pastry just melted in the mouth.
